MY STORY

Jenn Hoover, BS, NBC-HWC, FMCHC

Jenn is certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching and has obtained certification in functional medicine health coaching through the prestigious Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.

Her coach approach is client-centered and rooted in functional medicine principles. By looking at the mind, body and spirit as a whole system, Jenn helps clients align their goals with personal values, meaning and purpose in life to feel healthy and connect to themselves and the life they live.  

Jenn has studied integrity-based methods for behavioral change that support short-term and long-term goal formation and implementation.  Jenn and her clients co-create goals that apply principles from the Tiny Habits Method and the SMART goal approach.

Through the use of positive psychology and strengths-based coaching, clients experience success in creating lasting habit change through the formation of goals that are simple, actionable and attainable for the client.  Jenn approaches each client session with integrity, respect, and curiosity for the individual or group she is guiding. 

Additionally, Jenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in elementary education and was a teacher for 10 years before pursuing health coaching. She also is a certified Dietary Supplement Specialist through Designs for Health. Having overcome her own health challenges, she has personally experienced the powerful impact that food, lifestyle, and behavioral practices have on creating sustainable and transformational health changes.
